Before permanently closing your project #

You can always delete a project yourself once it is finished. Here’s how:

However, after six months of inactivity, Setpad will send you a courtesy message notifying you that your project will be deleted. This message is sent before permanently deleting your project to ensure that you have saved all the information needed in your files before closing. It is also entirely possible to give you more time to return to Setpad and download all the documents you need.

On the other hand, Setpad is not designed to archive data for an unlimited time period. Mainly because it makes the database heavier. Setpad is not the final destination of your data. Once approved, the calculated timesheets are usually uploaded and become the final supporting documents. Each company already has a system for classifying these documents, as well as an accounting system (e.g. Genie comptable, TR, Great plains, etc.) whose specialty is to preserve salary data.

The main strength and usefulness of Setpad is to allow the quick entry of production hours in both collaborative and mobile modes and to generate calculated timesheets according to union rules, as well as creating various reports including remittances reports. However, Setpad remains a calculation tool and not a long-term archiving tool.

Here is what you can download in order to keep as much information about your project :

  1. Check tools in the utilities for contracts data (Check)
  2. Allowances utilities tools (Allwncs.)
  3. Crew list
  4. PDF/ZIP contracts
  5. List of all days worked
  6. Raw data
  7. Union wages remittance
  8. Timesheets (basic and calculated)

Information that will remain in your account #

When it comes to retrieving data from a project, it’s about the daily and weekly hours entered. Setpad will leave the project in place, as well as the contact database and the Functions chart, so that you can reuse them in future projects or delete them at your convenience.
