If the person holds two positions simultaneously (for example Hairdresser/Make-up Artist) and has only one pay rate for this dual position, you can create a “dual function” in the Functions Chart.
To do this, go to the Functions Chart in the “Crew List” tab. Start by creating the function in one or the other of the departments (e.g. Hairdressing Department), then choose a function (e.g. Hairdresser) in the function choices, then assign your budget code to it. Once created, you can return to modify this new function by clicking on it in your Chart (e.g. modify by Hairdresser / Makeup Artist) and save by clicking on the check mark.
Once this new position is included in the Chart you can go and create your contract by choosing this new function from the list. In this contract, you will directly put its increased rate (for example 15%) as the hourly rate or its flat rate.
If the person sometimes performs one or the other of these two functions, perhaps with different pay rates, then it would be better to create two different contracts. One for each function. Please note that this approach would not allow the person to occupy both functions during the same day because Setpad cannot “link” two contracts.
